Reviewed The Only Chocolate Cake Recipe You'll Ever Need! (Devil's Food)

"I have made this cake several times now. It is my 'go to' chocolate cake recipe. I needed to make a 12x18 pan (half sheet) so I doubled the recipe. The cake baked up perfectly I this pan ( filled the 3" deep pan to the top once baked) It baked flat and evenly. I have yet to try the icing as all the requests so far have been for chocolate icing. Reviewed Enchilada Casserole

"My family loved, loved, loved this! Made 1 1/2 times in a larger pan and it came out great. So glad I did, now I have some for lunch. :) made as directed using the Mexican Enchilada Sauce #109685 (doubled for my extra large casserole). The pairing of these two is perfect! Using this sauce, well seasoned meat and beans, onions, jalape?o, and olives..."

The sauce is easy to make and as Donna points out, adjust the spice to suit your tastes. I find canned tomato sauces lacking in sweet tomato flavor so I added a can of tomat..."

    About Me

I'm known as Pharmer Cathy to the kids who visit our farm in upstate NY. We raise much of our own food including eggs, pork, beef, chicken, turkey and even rabbit. In growing season, my DIL keeps us in fresh greens and veggies and we even managed to put up some of our own to have over this past winter. Easter was a special treat for us as we had a meal almost entirely raised by us from the beautiful baked ham and roasted potatoes to the corn casserole and pumpkin pie.
