"I've rated without starts as it didn't quite work for me but I am sure this was because I used golden syrup instead of maple. The taste was nice and although it looked a little odd it was gobbled by all. I passed the recipe onto my vegan friend who reports it is very good (when done properly : A great recipe and im sure it will be used again of..."

"Very nice!I used grated "pizza cheese" mozzarella as the first time I tried it I found the waterpacked mozzarella made it a little soggy. They were deliciously gooey and yummy and have become a bit of a favourite! I'm looking forward to trying this with other ingredients also."

"I totally loved this! I used a dsp of oil because I found that brushed on to the tortilla it was plenty. They were easy to make and cooked quickly but turn quickly so they need to be kept a close eye on. I made salt and black pepper flavour and can't wait to try others too, I found that seasoning before cooking resulted in a better flavour. The cr..."

"I made this into muffins rather than a cake and although they were Ok it would work much better as one large cake. I found it easy to put together and they baked with no problems. I found the flavor to be very mild but this could have been my green tea rather than the recipe. I nice little cake that would make an unusual picnic or potluck ingredie..."

"This dish wasn't to my taste I'm afraid but that was nothing to do with the recipe in any way, only my own tastes. It was very easy to put together and would keep well and taste nice served at room temperature - a great pot luck dish. I used Soba noodles as I was out of Udon but you need a robust noodle to hold up to the veg and dressing. On chan..."

"I found the directions in this recipe a little confusing. It calls for 2 tbsp carrot but the instructions call for you to save 5tbsp of the carrot?! I made it as best I could and used it to fill a potato as suggested. I found that it was a change from regular coleslaw but needed some good seasoning to pep it up a bit"

"This will serve 2 as a main or 4 as a side. It is very easy to put together and does not take long to cook. I used a bunch of spring onions as the ones sitting on the supermarket shelf looked a little skinny I also used freeze dried tarragon as I forgot to buy fresh. I found the dish tasty but a little bland - this could have been the tarragon tho..."

"Wonderful! I used Panko crumbs as we don't get saltines over here. They were very easy to put together and cooked beautifully. I left the skins on for ease of handling and they cooked up fine. They were wonderfully crisp and the eggplant was soft and tasty. Very easy to make and very tasty too, thanks for sharing."

"I made this as a little snack. I used regular Tamari which I found made it very salty - Light soy is a must if you are not using Braggs. I also cooked some somen noodles and thinly sliced mushrooms in the broth which made it into a filling snack - cooking the noodles in the broth will thicken it into a sauce though so bear this in mind."
