    About Me

This is me on the beach (at sunrise) from a southern vacation a few years ago. After loosing more than 50 pounds I am not so shy about bathing suits, beaches or pools as I used to be.

When I'm not working, I'm a relaxing around the house kind of person. I like to read, surf the net and play adventure games (of which there are fewer and fewer). Post Mortem, Keepsake, A Vampyre Story are all favs! I like the CSI games too.

My Zaar name is the same as my little gray tabby cat who likes to watch me use the computer...

I like to cook and experiment in the kitchen and try new recipes. Which is how I wandered into Zaar, the best site for recipes...

Standard substitutions: I use butter. If I've reviewed a recipe that calls for margarine, light margarine or shortening, you can safely assume that I substituted butter when making it.

    Favorite Foods

I love Chinese, Mexican and Seafood restaurants. I usually order things I never make at home, either because they're too time consuming or no one else will eat it (like calamari).
