    About Me

    I am a retired 911 operator, grandmother, wife, and Red Hatter! I also volunteer 2 or 3 times a week at a local hospital. I have been attending water exercise classes for about 10 years. Reading is my favorite thing to do, but once in awhile I get a bug to cook up a storm. Unfortunately, I have a lap band and can't eat much of what I cook. If my husband is around (he works out of state) he loves to eat what I cook. Otherwise, I either freeze what I cook, or give it away. I live in a big old farmhouse that always needs work done on it. Quilting is another thing I fuss with sometimes. My three kids are all grown up and I am so proud of them.

    Favorite Foods

    I love anything with tomatoes, tomato sauce, paste, dried tomatoes, marinara sauce. Since I got my lap band, however, I am not able to eat lots of things, so some of the foods I love, I don't eat anymore.
