I'm just a teenage girl who enjoys her time in the kitchen. I love baking, even though my attempts often fall flat. I also love grocery shopping, which I guess is a little strange. I'm a senior in high school. I work at a movie theater, and it's a blast. Some of my favorite things in the world are reading, writing, photography, going for long walks, being with my friends and family, working out, sunshine, summer, and listening to music.
I'm a sucker for [healthy] snack foods...berries, bananas, apples, yogurt, smoothies, whole wheat pretzels, whole wheat crackers, whole wheat ANYTHING, air-popped popcorn, cottage cheese, peanut butter, all-natural granola bars, etc. Kashi is my best friend. My favorite meats are chicken and fish, especially salmon. I don't normally like beef. Honestly, I could probably live on whole grains, fruits, and veggies alone; but I do like the occasional piece of grilled chicken. I love peas, broccoli, summer and zucchini squash, tomatoes, potatoes, red and green peppers, lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, etc. I'm not very picky. I'd choose a veggie burger over a beef one any day. I enjoy making healthy versions of breads and muffins by using whole wheat flour, natural sugar, real fruit, etc. Facts: I love food. I love eating foods that benefit my body and well-being. I love to feel great about what I eat.
