    About Me

    Hi, my name is Jan and I am a stay-at-home mom with 3 kids...2 married and one starting high school next year.  I am going to be a grandma in September!  So excited about that.  I have been married for 27 years to a preacher boy! My passions are being a mom & homemaker first but I also enjoy traveling and being active in my church, especially being an encouragement to other ladies through the challenges that life presents to us!  I love cooking & trying out new recipes on my family! My favorite cookbooks are Paula Deens and Ina Garten's! I also love the Taste of Home magazine!

    Favorite Foods

    My favorite foods are down home recipes- gravy-laden, creamy, cheesy comfort foods and I must say, I'm a sucker for a good casserole!!! I've also come to terms with the fact that I absolutely need chocolate in my life to thrive! I well may die without it!  Surprised
