    About Me

I am a Brazilian girl who is married to an American guy. I have been leaving here in the USA for few years now and it has just not been easy to adapt to the American way of life. Everything here is just so different from Brazil and that includes food! I have been learning how to cook since the day I've got married and I do know how to prepare some Brazilian dishes but, I have to confess that I am better at cooking American dishes (when I say American I am actually referring to dishes I have tried here in the USA...not all of them are part of the American cuisine I guess). I don't have much time to cook but, I try to do it regardless...on my day off usually. My hubby says he likes my food...he is a meaty person and so I try to prepare dishes including beef for him...it's usually a mixture of Brazilian and American cuisine...rs. We do not have kids yet but we have been planning on getting pregnant some time soon. We have a cat and her name is Xena. She also loves trying the dishes I cook and sometimes she likes them and sometimes she doesn't...just like a little person!

    Favorite Foods

It's hard to think of a favorite foods...of course I love most of the foods that are originally from Brazil...they have such great food there! I also love pasta and chicken...I love Chinese food which I have just discovered after moving to the USA. I also love dishes that can be cooked in the crockpot...beef roasts are my favorite...also love baking casseroles...ohhhh....and LOVE desserts...peanut butter and ice cream are my all time favorites!!! rs
