"Alan, thanks for this wonderful recipe!! Made this last night for my hubby to celebrate Valentines Day. Made him surf/turf since he really prefers meat to seafood...BUT, he LOVED this recipe and said he enjoyed it more than the filet mignon. I added 4 very large shrimp to the stuffiing. "Yummy! I make a Mexican Soup very similar to this. BUT, I recently took a food safety certification course, and you should never put frozen meat into a crock pot. With the low heat, the bacteria can build up during the slow thawing to cooking time. Just thought I'd share that info!"

"Made this recipe for Valentines Day. It looked beautiful..very nice presentation. Unfortunately, we found it a little bland. Sorry to submit a negative review, but that's how we felt about it."

"Great SOFT oatmeal cookies. Have been looking for a recipe for these cookies that turn out soft and they do....just like my husband's Mom used to make. Thanks for the recipe. Rather than currants, I used craisons and also threw in some chocolate chips! Yummy! Thanks!"

"Yummy!! I just made this today and am freezing it for Thanksgiving. And since it's Thanksgiving, I used dried cranberries rather than the raisons. This is my first kugel and I was really torn between this one and one with applesauce, but I'm very happy with this one. The cranberries are a great addition. Thanks for a great recipe!"

This one fit the bill and boy it's a winner. Very good soup, nice flavor, few ingredients and simple to make. I didn't have mace on hand, so I used ..."
