"Just finished making 2 double batches. I did not have a candy thermometer so I watched for color. It took me about 15 min. I didn't want it to burn so I had the heat lower. One batch was plain and I toasted pecans and put them on the pan first for the other batch. I poured mine on a silpat and it worked perfectly. Easy fool proof recipe! *d..."

"My kids and husband loved these! Fun to make and super easy. Great for a once and a while treat. I didn't have sticks to put them on so I skewered them with a metal shish ka bob skewer and then slid them off into the hot oil. They came out fantastic!"

"This is fantastic! Thanks for posting such an easy recipe. I took out my large electric turkey roaster to cook the apples down. I used my stick blender to puree. I added sugar and cinnamon to taste. Delicious!!! Unfortunately, one of my quart jars broke in the canner. So disappointed all that yummyness wasted."

"YUMMY!!!! All I can say is OMG what a delicious jam. Just finished making it. I used one batch liquid pectin and one powder. It's what I had on hand. Couldn't tell the difference. I followed the recipe exactly. It is super sweet but it is mostly sugar after all. I'm giving these for Christmas presents if it lasts that long. I also made Beet ..."

"This is a delicious way to use beets. I'm not a big fan of beets but this is tasty. I followed the recipe on quantity and it made 3 pint jars. I did sub a yellow pepper for green and regular rasins for the golden. It's what I had on hand. I'm not sure what kind of meat to serve it with. Maybe pork or turkey? If anyone has ideas let me know."

"This is a fantastic recipe! I doubled the recipe and used 1 can of pinapple rings sliced in chunks and about 1 1/2 cups of nectarine. I also used a hot pepper from the garden. I'm bad at measuring so I just kind of threw everything in until it looked right. I didn't have lime juice so I just skipped it. I used this salsa over premade wild cau..."
