    About Me

I'm a 31 year old woman living in Queens, NY. I love cooking and anything food-related. Cooking is a favorite past-time of mine and I enjoy it immensely. I recently got married to a man I've been with for over 4 years, and he's a chef, which is no coincidence! We each take turns cooking for each other.

After cooking, I love to entertain. Cooking a big meal with appetizers and having a bunch of friends over for food, drink and good times is my favorite way to spend a Saturday!

I also love my 2 cats; Evie and Pinot. Pinot loves to sit on the kitchen window sill while either my husband or I cook. We call her our little Sous Chef even though she doesn't do anything. :)

    Favorite Foods

My favorite thing to cook is macaroni and gravy. I love making meatballs, and any sauce with meat in it is considered gravy to me. Ever since I was a kid, all kinds of pasta was called macaroni; it reminds me of my grandmother, she used to make the BEST homemade macaroni (thin spaghetti). I've tried to re-create her recipe, but it just isn't the same. But I will never give up!

Chili is also another favorite of mine; anything that can be cooked for a long period of time, or reheated and tastes better such as soups, stews and the like is a favorite.

My favorite type of cuisine will always be Italian. It's the food I grew up with and feel most comfortable cooking and eating.
