    About Me

I went with the name "Recipe Book Worm" because I collect old cookbooks, and will spend evenings reading them, even if I have no intention of making anything...

My favourite things to cook (and eat!) are the traditional "comfort" foods I grew up with, both Ukrainian and Canadian.  I try to experiment with new flavours and ingredients when possible, but that can be a challenge with a picky 3-year old to cook for.

My husband also enjoys cooking, especially baking bread and barbecueing.  Unlike some married couples, we probably fight more often over who gets to cook dinner instead of who has to! Laughing

In addition to cooking & baking, I also enjoy crosswords & sudoku, watching hockey & (CFL) football, shopping and gardening.
