Our household currently consists of myself & DH, one rambunctious dog named Spike and one kitty named Porsche. DH is retired, and as of 12/2/2011, I am retired, too!
I appreciate the wealth of information and expertise of this community. The reviews and suggestions posted with the recipes are extremely helpful! Many thanks also to those of you who have tried and reviewed recipes that I have posted.
I once participated in an email recipe exchange "chain letter" and this recipe was one I was sent from Karen Clarke:
Chili Dip (good for watching sports on TV!) 1. layer of softened cream cheese 2. layer of no bean chili 3. cover with shredded cheddar cheese 4. bake in 350 degree oven until bubbly 5. serve with scoop chips enjoy!

I am partial to lobster, N.Y. strip steak, veal parmesan, and pizza but I really like most all foods.
My favorite restaurant at the moment is the Capital Grill - perfect steak!
Husband and son (who is a fire fighter-in-training) like my chili mac - they think it tastes a lot like Steak N Shake chili mac.
I like to make pork chops on the grill - take 3/4" thick bone-in chops, brush both sides with olive oil, lay on a hot grill, sprinkle with kosher salt and pepper. Grill, med-high heat (with the top open) for 5 min. Turn the chops. Sprinkle with kosher salt & pepper. Lower heat to medium. Close the lid and grill for 7 minutes. Always results in a tasty, juicy porkchop!
