Now that I work part-time and am a recent empty-nester, cooking has become more fun than work. Don't get me wrong, I'm still the Queen of One-Dish Meals but I do like to experiment a bit more now and my husband is a willing guinea pig. We've just remodeled our house and backyard, which my husband now calls our "Marriott." My kids' rooms have become a lovely guest room and a gym. This new phase of our life is exciting and we're enjoying it. We still see our kids quite often, which is great. They are still young and single (23 & 21 so there is always the possibility that they'll come back home at some point, but that would be okay too. Aside from family, my passions are gardening and my cat,Topi.
