"KNOX BLOCKS! I completely forgot about these! I grew up eating them also, and I used to love them! Thanks for posting the recipe. UPDATE- I finally made these and they tasted exactly as I remembered. It was fun to introduce them to my kids, who gobbled them up. I do keep them covered as they chill, and it takes away the hard outer "peel"..."

"SO GOOD! Wish I had doubled the recipe. We added more lemon juice, and covered it the whole time. True, the chicken gets a little done, but we like our chicken on the done side. Keeping it covered it was still tender. There was a nice "broth" that I wished I'd had some crusty bread to soak it up with. This will go into the regular r..."

"YUUUUMMMM! I ony cut four apples for this, because I didn't think my family would eat it, but they gobbled it up. I wish I would have made more. I added a small pat of butter, and reduced the sugar, and apples. It was so good. Great recipe, thanks! We ate ours with vanilla ice cream for dessert."

"Awesome! Easy, and flavorful, my two favorite combinations. With a food processor I whipped this up so quickly, and just added more sour cream until I got it to the consistency I wanted. Thanks!"

"Very good. Perfect for a cold, rainy Sunday. I used a small jar of pimentos and added garlic salt, and dried Basil. It was perfect. Next time I might double the sauce, the biscuits soaked up a lot of it. I made noodles to go along side this, thinking they would go nicely with the sauce, but they were not needed. Just a nice green salad would have ..."

"I am going to send flowers and a box of candy to whoever came up with this recipe. : WOW. I remember eating these at the fair years ago, but I don't remember them tasting this good. This will be the treat I bring out for parties or special occassions. Yes, they are horribly fattening, but if you eat them a few times a year, it's no bigg..."

"Lordy, these are good. I cut the recipe in half for dinner for our family of four. ( along with a salad. I had to leave the poppy seeds out, because they were almost five dollars for a tiny container, but otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. YUM. I could eat twenty of these!"

"Good stuff! I am pregnant, and obviously not drinking but I wanted the taste that wine adds to this, so I found one of those single servings of Pinot Grigio, and was able to add the wine. It was delicious. I added more stuffing, and more wine, and next time I might double the sauce entirely. Mixed with the soup/cheese/wine, the stuffing made a nice..."

"The trick to these is making sure they are chilled really really well, maybe even a bit of time in the freezer, and using a melon baller. All truffles seem to melt as soon as they have any contact with your hand. So keep them chilled/frozen and try not to touch them any more than you have to. Having said that, red wine in chocolate is a revelation..."
