"The flavor was really good, I tweaked this & I think it made it even yummier. Put everything but the cheese & meat in crockpot all day w/ 2 cans of tomatoes, not 1 PLUS can of chicken broth, used zucchini instead, one cubed potato, 3 cloves garlic. Was pretty generous w/ the salt. Then, put that in casserole dish, browned & cooked meat, sprinkled ..."

"This was very very good. my husband came home & said "it smells like Thanksgiving in here!' like the other review, I used stuffing instead of bread crumbs & it really was awesome. I love how the liquid ingredients create a sort of gravy - make mashed potatoes w/ this & it's perfect."

"Save your calories, eat salad for breakfast & lunch & chow down on this for dinner. I was so bad, made this, salad w/ balsaminc vinaigrette & a big glass of chianti. This is one of THE BEST recipes I've gotten on this site. Totally tastes like the real deal. My 3 yr old loves it AND my husband was like wow, this is restaurant quality!"

"OMG!! this is by far the easiest family meal to make that tastes the best. Want to impress guests? Make this, serve it with a sprig of rosemary of top, some crusty bread & salad. They will go crazy. That's what I did & I served it all over well cooked brown rice. The sauce just soaks into the brown rice & it is truly amazing. I used chicken thighs..."

"Hi fellow Realtor, I love to bake too, this turned out very well - I love the light color too, it's just like the bakery. Now what is the difference in preparation to get it super fluffy?? Is it less milk or less powdered sugar, etc.? Thanks!"

"This was amazing. To make it a bit healthier I served it with brown rice & the sauce soaked into the rice, making it taste better. I also added some fresh chopped spinach on the top just as a garnish but as it warmed it sort of took on a casserole texture and was delicious."

"This was really classic & comforting, but I made a few changes that I thought were yummy; I sauteed the garlic & onion in olive oil & added 1/4 C minced fresh parsley & 10 matzo balls 20 min. before serving. Amazing!"
