    Reviewed Old-Fashioned Apple Crisp

"I made this recipe exactly as it was written, with the exception of using different types of apples than it called for as the suggested ones were not available. It turned out well except the citrus flavors were overpowering, which diminished the warmness of the other flavors. I think a little for freshness or omitting them altogether would be better in this recipe. The other ingredients worked well. I keep trying to give this recipe 3 stars, but the computer will only allow me 2 for some strange reason.
