Shared Recipe Cafe Rio Chicken Salad
Jan 14, 2013 on Food.com
"I didn't get a good rise out of my rolls and wonder if it was because the yeast had such hot milk poured over it or if it was just too old. At any rate, these are still wonderful. I will try again with fresh yeast and cool the milk a bit before adding it. I only had all purpose flour and granulated sugar so that is what I used. I found these to be ..."

"Okay, I know people sometimes have a problem when people rate a recipe but don't follow it exactly. I couldn't help myself on this one! I didn't have coriander or tumeric. I read what the flavors are similar to by clicking on the spice. So I substituted them both one with 1/2 tsp lemon pepper and the other with 1/2 tsp ground ginger. I also left ou..."

Reviewed Panera's Cream Cheese Potato Soup
"This is so good (and easy, too)! My husband, kids, and I LOVE this! I was skeptical about boiling the potatoes in the soup itself, as I have done this once before with a horrible outcome, but I gave it a go and it turned out wonderful. This was a great time saver. I added some chives and crispy bacon bits to this for a 'baked potato' flavor. It was..."

Reviewed Best Apple Cake
"As is this cake was not very good. I did as many others did and added cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. I didn't have apple juice so I added apple sauce plus a little water. I also substituted 1/2 the oil with more apple sauce. It definetely didn't need the extra oil. I really liked the caramel glaze. I actually think it could have been doubled if you cut bac..."

Reviewed Country Style Omelette
"This was excellent! Even my three year old liked it! I changed things quite a bit to suit our tastes, but this was a great recipe to do that with! I cooked the potato and onion for about 5 min to get it going. I thought 30 min would cook the egg too much. I topped it with the cream cheese as stated and doubled the parmesan. I also added a few spoon..."

I am a Mom to three little boys and a girlfriend to my wonderful husband. I love to cook but find myself short on time, between running kids to preschool and cleaning up after three toddlers. I usually go for recipes that take under an hour to make, start to finish. I also enjoy raising hens and loving on my horses, when my boys allow me out of the house. I get tired of the same old recipes, so I am always on the lookout for ways to "spice up" the old favorites.
Chicken. It can be made so many different ways. Potatoes. Rice. Vegetables. Fruit. Beef. Cheese. Milk. Sweets. Ummm...That pretty much sums it up. I love to eat ANYTHING. (Except if it came out of the water, I was raised in Utah where seafood is never fresh)
