"I decided to give this a shot, and I think I've made it 4 times since then... I just couldn't stop making it! I actually used raspberries (frozen, defrosted instead of strawberries and baked it as a bread instead of muffins. Really good flavor, moist, and very easy to make!
Thanks! :"

"These were... weird. They didn't really hold together and the "batter" seemed practically like granola and was really hard to mold into cookie-like shapes to put on my baking sheet. Maybe adding an egg as a couple of the other reviewers had would help. No leavening either. Odd. The final product was okay - certainly edible, and tasty even, but not..."

"This is *the best*. We've made it probably half a dozen times and will definitely make it again. The sour cream really adds something special to this - the flavor tastes vaguely lemony to me, which is nice. Our favorite addition is some dried lavender - yum!"

"I found that the version of the recipe without salt and with more baking soda worked better. Salt is caustic to silver, so it seems like if baking soda works just as well (though it does have salt in it as well it might be better to avoid pure salt."

"These were very very tasty on day 2. Day one they were pretty good but the flavors hadn't set yet and after that they got kind of soggy as someone else suggested. The flavor was good overall though and I might try this again, but I would probably half it so that we can eat it more quickly."

"Wonderful! I actually doubled the recipe for 2 people for a nice big breakfast. I have made this twice now (in two days and fully intend to make it again in the future. The first time I used frozen strawberries and raspberries served with whipped cream, the second time I used frozen blueberries served with brown sugar-sour cream and it was exc..."

"This did not work quite as well as I thought it would on extremely tarnished silver. But it still worked pretty well and my things turned from black to silver-y, but not glistening like if I had used polish on them. Certainly a good method if you're just trying to clean off a large amount of silver, but for heavily tarnished objects that you want..."

"DH requested congo bars like his Grandma used to make and he said these fit the bill quite well. For everyone's info about 2 1/2 cups brown sugar should equal about 1 lb. We omitted the walnuts due to not having them and added a handful of coconut. They were a little too sweet for our taste, but they rose well and were nicely chewy."

"These were pretty good for what they are. We had a cookie-craving and bare pantries, so this sounded perfect! I was actually short on butter too, so we used part unfiltered peanut oil, which was nice and imparted a nice peanut-y flavor to the bars. They are quite shortbread cookie-like as several others have stated, which certainly wasn't bad, ..."
