"I admit that I didn't have a clue how to make asparagus before I tried this recipe. I knew I liked it but was intimidated by the idea of cooking them because I had experienced that "stringiness" before and didn't know how to avoid it. These turned out perfectly. Thanks so much for the straightforward instructions. I will be making asparagus again ..."

"Sooo much better than canned! They were a little too salty the 2nd time I made them, and I noticed that the pinto beans I used had salt in them. I may eliminate the salt altogether next time. I used 3 TB butter and the taste was still wonderful. Will be making these again and again."

"Really good! My husband doesn't really like tuna and he liked it. My 4 year old ate 1 1/2 sandwiches! Used a little less mustard, yellow onions instead of green, and a dash of lemon juice. Also used about 1/2 of the relish with a little pickle juice because I don't like so many pickle chunks in it. Made one without cheese and it was really good t..."

"Very good flavor. Had a bitter aftertaste. I might try using less beer and/or a different kind of beer to try to solve that. I used a Corona. I used 2 cups of cheese and I think I would use more next time. I love thick soups and I never thought I would say this but it was a little too thick for me. Added a little milk to the leftovers for a thinne..."
