    "really enjoyed these! used 1 cup of white sugar and 1/2 cup of brown to make them a bit softer...also added a little allspice and a teeny bit of red pepper to the dough to bring out the chocolate flavor (sounds weird but works! : they crinkle beautifully if you press them down a little after putting them on the cookie sheet. great recipe."
