"I made this for my mom's birthday this past week. Very simple recipe, but I did add a half a teaspoon of french vanilla extract to the crumble mix for extra flavor. It came out very nicely, and got good reviews from the family :)"

I only made some minor additions to the batter to make it a bit more flavorful: I added 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon of butter extract. After that, they were wonderful. My bf had never had pound cake before and he wolfed down one cake in one sitti..."

"I made this for Christmas Eve dinner for the family- wow! Although somewhat time consuming, it was a major hit! I used regular smoked sausage rather than andouille and added hamburger meat that I needed to use up. This was my first time making jambalaya, but I am happy to say that it won't be my last--I'll definitely be making this again!"
