    "I needed some bisquick to make cheddar bay biscuits with, so I made this. Discovered at the last minute that I was out of shortening, so had to use butter and store the extra mix in the fridge. My biscuits turned out great! Thanks for this recipe!"

    "I made this with the addition of some garlic, and I thought it turned out great. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is that my husband felt it was a good side dish but not hearty enough to be an entree. He loved it as a side dish with steak, though!"
