Reviewed Whole Wheat Hamburger and Hot Dog Buns (Bread Machine)

"Wow! Airy, soft, and delicious. I used 1/2 white and 1/2 whole wheat flour and added ingredients according to the bread machine's directions. They rose up beautifully in such a short amount of time. I made eight sub rolls to use for BBQ pulled pork sandwiches. I'll be using this recipe over and over again for all sorts of applications. Thanks..."

Reviewed Dry Jell-O Salad (Jello) Cottage Cheese Fruit Salad

"Wonderful! This is one of my son's favorites. I used sugar free orange jello (regular package size, though the ounces listed on the box are different) and mandarin oranges. I'll be making again and again."

Reviewed Chicken Thighs With Roasted Apples and Garlic

"I really enjoyed this. I used a mix of Gala, Golden Delicious, and Granny Smith apples. I also cooked mine in an oven-safe pan. I heated oil with the garlic, removed the garlic, and browned the chicken quickly to help build the flavor then put the apples under the chicken and popped it in the oven. I baked mine at 425* and it went about 35 minu..."

Reviewed Whole Wheat Bread Machine Pizza Dough

"I worried about the fact that this dough didn't have any sugar in it, that it might not rise well. It looked great coming out of the bread machine. I rolled it out nice and thin then let it rise another 20 minutes. It continued to rise when I pre-baked it so it ended-up a little too thick for my tastes, but the boys loved it. I did think it lac..."

Reviewed Bread Machine Whole Wheat Rolls

"These had good flavor. They were a little heavy for my tastes, though. I think I'll play around with the flour, try adding oats, and maybe adjust the yeast amounts. Great starter recipe. I just like my rolls a little lighter."

Reviewed 100% Whole Wheat Bread (Bread Machine)

"The flavor of this bread was great, but I made it twice and both times the bread fell. Don't know if it's my machine or what. I'll probably use this as a dough recipe to make in the bread maker then bake it in the oven, but thanks for a great recipe!"

    Shared Recipe Sweet Potato Chili

"Wish I could take credit for this one, but it was created by a dear friend. This is one of those things that is really good for you and you just can't get enough of! Simple to make, too."

Reviewed Rosemary Chicken for Crock Pot or Dutch Oven

"We really enjoyed this. I just used some chicken drumsticks and chicken broth with the Tbsp. of white wine vinegar as listed. I only cooked 2 hours and they were perfectly done. Easy, quick dinner! Thanks!"
