Growing up in Nebraska, one of my absolute favorite foods was a Runza, which is sort of like a hot pocket of bread dough with a cabbage, onion and meat filling. I was shocked when I moved out of the state, to find that most people outside of Nebraska had never even heard of Runzas. I was happy to find a recipe on this website for them, that is excellent. Baked ahead of time, these freeze really well, and I actually feel that they are even better after frozen, and reheating. http://www.food.com/recipe/runzas-55733One tip, if you don't like to chop or grate the cabbage, you can make this with a bag of coleslaw mix from the salad section of the grocery store-it is just as good!
