Reviewed Whole Wheat Bread (A B M)
"I made this bread tonight and it just turned out okay. (I made it on the dough cycle and then put it in a pan and baked it at 400 as another reviewer suggested, but mine was done in 25 minutes, not 35. Maybe because it was in a gas oven.) It was super light, and it was almost *identical* to the plain wheat bread you buy in the store. (You know the ..."

I'm a female, 43, single, no kids, and I live in WA State with my adorable baby girl, Punkin (my profile pic), who's the best doggie I've ever seen or had. (Seriously, she's amazing & my *world*. We just recently found out she has cancer, but it's a mass that's not attached and hasn't spread. She will be okay if she has surgery to remove it. So right now I'm devoting all my time in trying to raise enough money for her to be able to have her operation. :*( ) I've been a home cook ever since I was a teenager, I love to try new recipes, and have about 100 hardcover cookbooks I've been collecting the last 20 years. I'm mostly a baker, and enjoy doing that type of cooking the most. The best recipes I've tried that never let me down are from Better Homes & Gardens, Southern Living, Cooks Illustrated, and the Food Network. I'm not too much of a fan of Taste of Home anymore as I honestly don't believe they actually *make* and test all of the recipes they publish. (I subscribed when they first started their company YEARS ago, when it was about the subscribers and really good recipes. Now I feel they're more about the $, and am tired of wasting ingredients on bad recipes. And way too many of their reviews are "This looks good! Will have to try it!". *Make* it, THEN review it! Argh! Anyways... lol) I love this site, and how everyone is so willing to take the time to leave a review on the recipes they've tried. Thank you guys for putting in that effort so the rest of us will be able to use your experience to make ours as successful as well! :) Ina, Alton, Paula Deen, and Bobby Flay are my favorite chefs.
