    AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND RECIPE SWAP SEPTEMBER 2008






    Well..about me! I'm married to an amazing man, who I have know for my whole life,and who was my "high school sweetheart"!  We have two sons, aged 10 and 7 (almost 8!).  We have a Jack Russel named Edwardwho we just adore..he is our *other* baby..  Ed is 2 years old, and has totally taken over our house!  We also have 2 cats, Hendrix who is 16 years old, and Jack, who is 4 years old, and 2 guinea pigs, Annie and Alvin.

    I live on the West Coast of Tasmania, Australia, and I have loved cooking for as long as I can remember, and have become completely addicted to browsing through Zaar looking for new recipes!
    I work as a teacher's aide and absolutely love my job!  I do general aide work, but mostly I work as a special needs aide.
    My favourite cookbooks are The Essential Pasta Cookbook, The Central Cookery Book, Flo Bjielkie-Peterson's Country Cookbook, and Greek Cooking (I bought that one in Greece, and it's FANTASTIC). I'm passionate about a lot of things, mainly my kids, animals, and cooking.
    I won't even start on my peeves, we'll be here all night! lol

    Favorite Foods

    My favourite cuisine is Greek, particulary moussaka, souvlaki, spanikopita, calamari, etc.
    My favourite foods are seafood (particularly Moreton Bay bugs, abalone, squid), peanut butter, and chocolate!
    My favourite restaurant is Stalyctites greek restaurant, in Melbourne. Their moussaka is to die for! 
    I love cooking new recipes, it's great to stumble onto a winner!
