    About Me

    I am a homeschooling, work-at-home mom of three children. I type medical transcription for a bunch of local doctors. I have been cooking since I was old enough to stand at the counter and help my grandma, who was the best cook EVER.

    I own an embarrassing number of cookbooks. I love the old ones, especially, the community and church cookbooks always have the best recipes in them.

    I love my family and spend as much time with them as I can. We love to get together and play games and talk and EAT.

    I love to bake almost as much as I love to cook. Yeast breads and rolls are the most satisfying for me. I also enjoy making cheesecakes and pies.

    Favorite Foods

    My favorite foods are Lebanese and Greek. My best friend in college was Lebanese and I used to love going home with her and eating her mom's wonderful food.

    We're lucky to have a large Middle Eastern population in our city with a lot of really great, family-owned restaurants.
