Reviewed Spaghetti with Olives and Bread Crumbs

"I mistakenly bought plain breadcrumbs, so I improvised & added some Italian seasoning and a bit of parmesan cheese to the crumbs and hoped for the best. Luckily, it worked out OK. I like to follow a recipe exactly the first time, then tweak it to my tastes when I make it again. Aside from the breadcrumbs, I would make this again exactly the same. I didn't find the oil to be too much. As the crumbs were cooking, they absorbed most of it and what was left, just lightly coated the pasta. The olives and freshly grated Parmesan cheese gave just enough flavour. Leftovers were just as delicious heated in the microwave for lunch the next day. Who would have thought something so simple could be so freakin' delcious?

    About Me

My name is Carrie. I'm a 40-something living in Southern Ontario, Canada (near Toronto) with my husband and our dog. No kids. I'm always on the lookout for new recipes. I like to have quick-to -prepare menus for work nights, but when I have the time I enjoy making more involved dishes. We are wine lovers and have fun pairing with that perfect bottle.

    Favorite Foods

I love all different kinds of foods. Mexican, Italian, Middle Eastern, Thai, Chinese, etc. etc. and of course, regular ol' North American cuisine. I have a fairly healthy sweet tooth, especially when it comes to chocolate!
