"This is exactly the way my mom used to make these when I was a kid. They were my favorite. Now that I have my own kids, I asked my mom for the recipe. "I'm looking foward to left overs for lunch! This is relativly easy chili to make, and it's quicker than most. Instead of using canned chilies, I choped whole chili pepers (2 oz. instead of 4oz.. Also, I forgot to add the green onions (would have been good, but I did top with a couple of avacado slices."
