"%u2665 This! It was soooo good. I used top sirloin cut into small strips and didn't dredge in cornstarch. I sauteed it in my wok in peanut oil. I then discarded the oil and put the meat back in the pan with the sauce. I actually doubled the recipe, used 2# of beef, but only ? of the sauce. I am saving the rest of the sauce for next time. "This is delicious and tastes just like my grandpa used to make. I usually buy this in the store, because I thought it would be hard to make, but it was SO EASY. I looked last week and they were selling Juusota for $10.49/lb!!!! I definitely saved money making it myself. I used a cloth baby diaper to strain the curd from the whey, I tried chees..."

"Delicious and so easy to make!! I brought them to work and everyone loved them. I heard over and over again how great it was that they didn't stick to your teeth like other homemade carmels. I would give these ten stars if I could. Wrapping them was the longest part."

"I have to give these 4 stars. I used a fork and mixed them well, and cooked according to the directions, mine were soggy -they never did get firm. They were EXTREMELY sweet. I really liked them, though - just not a 5 star recipe - I was thinking the dough was missing something, but I can't quite put my finger on what it was"

"I'm a 'Yooper' and can buy the pasties, but prefer to make them myself. I've always had problems with the crust, but this crust was perfect. To cut down on the cooking time, I use frozen hashbrowns (the cubed ones.I also substituted the lean ground beef with chopped sirloin. Lots of pepper in the mix is the key to a delicious pasty and y..."
