    Reviewed Tarragon Salad Dressing
    Handle
     |  By yooper

"My whole family loved this dressing. We have a lot of tarragon in our garden and we're always looking for ways to use it. Now we're looking for reasons to use this dressing! As well as salad, we marinated some chicken breast in it, and it was excellent. I think this will be our go-to dressing as long as the tarragon is growing."

"I made my own vegan caramel and used shortening in the oatmeal base to make these dairy-free, and they turned out great!! I have been making these for a few years and was afraid I wouldn't be able to make these again this year since I developed my allergy, but they work wonderfully with shortening. :"

"I made this using Earth Balance and coconut milk, and it turned out great. I plan on using this in place of the typical store-bought wrapped caramels in some holiday baking. :"

"Makes a quick simple lunch, especially when you're not feeling well enough to cook. I made mine without tofu (none on hand or egg (I wasn't feeling eggy, and I used carrots, peas, and scallion. I toasted my sesame seed right before I put it in my soup. I also used a teaspoon of sesame oil as opposed to a tablespoon.
I bet this would be ..."

"This was wonderful. My husband said he wanted pork and apples for dinner, and this recipe was perfect - not only did it come out beautifully, but it baked at the same temperature as my rice, which made prep that much easier! The only change I made was to totally forget to salt and pepper my chops. They still came out wonderful. I used Paula Re..."

"This was excellent. I didn't even bother with the butter sauce because a bit fell off during cooking and it tasted great on its own! It would also be great with a nice tartar sauce. My kids enjoyed it, though one picked off the breading (no offense to the recipe, she just hates breaded things. My husband thought it was great too, and I think ..."

"I made this for dinner for the 4 of us tonight and it was great - my kids finished their fish before the rest of their dinner. They raved about how yummy it was, so I guess I'll be making it again. : I used fresh bread crumbs because all I had on hand was the two end slices of a loaf of bread. I think a little dill would be really nice in this..."

"This was a really nice soup for a rainy day. It needed extra broth, and I added some sage ad a pinch of nutmeg and ginger, and it was lovely. I can't have dairy, so I stirred a lump of soy cream cheese into the finished soup and it was a very nice touch. It needed quite a bit of salt. We had this with homemade artisan bread and it was perfect."

"Wow, what a mess. : I made this because it was quick and easy and I wanted to try mochi for myself. This was fairly easy but I made a big mess. I used cornstarch and I got it everywhere because I stuffed my mochi balls with chocolate chips while it was still warm.
