"This was a great healthy and easy recipe. I used half of a can of diced tomatoes and black mustard seeds. I enjoyed a serving and my husband ate the rest in one sitting!"

"This soup has it all: easy, cheap, healthy and delicious. Used red lentils, one clove of elephant garlic, shrimp stock, and mustard oil. Sooo delicious! I had two bowls and my chef husband wolfed it down as well. A keeper!"

"I use this recipe frequently, very easy to make and I usually have everything on hand. Great dish, thanks! (ps I think it's supposed to be 1/2 inch gingerroot maybe? I always just use a good-sized chunk."

"A really great breakfast. I used about half-and-half sugar and honey and like it better. Update: been making this frequently over the past couple of years, never get tired of it! Usually I use yogurt, honey, cardamom and soy milk only."

The morning of I added the yogurt and it came out beautifully! Update: made this again, about a year later b/c I remembered ..."

I topped it with green onion and cilantro, and non-fat plain yogurt. You could vary it with different types of salsa, or perhaps add ground beef to the egg-and-rice mixture. If my h..."

"Just like it says...basic & simple. Delicious & healthy, too. I added a splash of red wine vinegar as well. Made for a 4th of July get-together. Threw in some leftover chopped bell peppers before putting the leftovers in the fridge. Think I used two cloves of garlic, too. Thanks!"
