"I have to respectfully disagree with the other commenter. These are amazing. I make these ALL THE TIME but I usually omit the shallot because I never have many fancy ingredients in my pantry and I'm generally too cheap and lazy to go to the grocery store often. Anyway, these are a great low cal, low carb, tasty side dish...or main dish if you l..."

"These rock. I am a fatty sauce fiend, so I used one 16 ounce box of noodles and doubled up on the sauce! I also did not let the sauce sit before tossing with the noodles due to time constraints, and it was still completely awesome, but next time I will definitely do it the way the recipe says. Thanks Kittencal, I will be making these again and ..."

"Found this recipe last week and have since made it 3 TIMES! I do a VEGETARIAN low carb version by subbing the Jimmy Dean sausage for either 1 package of Morningstar crumbles, or 1 9 ounce box of vegetarian breakfast sausages. Excellent soup, easy to make and perfect for the fall weather."

"I love trying out new mac and cheese recipes. This one was really good. Best to bake this in a shallow pan so that each portion has the right amount of baked cheese on top. Next time I make this I will halve the recipe, the leftovers were a little too dry the next day. Still, quite tasty. Thanks for posting."

"The consistency was wonderful, but like the author, I found this frosting a little too sweet for my taste."

"Five stars! This was an amazing treat. I am a vegetarian so I substituted 4 chopped Boca burgers for the ground beef, sauteed them separately, then added to the soup at the end of cooking: divine! I also added a drop of liquid smoke for that "grill" taste. Will DEFINITELY make again."

"These are so easy to make and they smell divine! Mine also rose a little and they were nice and moist, almost fluffy. I added a teaspoon or two to the batter. Cinnamon is an absolute MUST for me when making anything pumpkin. They taste quite good, but I think that I would like these better if they were slightly sweeter....."

"I love brie and I love mac and cheese, so naturally I wanted to try this. I really enjoyed it, but the brie does make this a bit bland. Overall, you really can't taste the brie, it is more like a nice creamy noodle dish. The best part is the cracker topping. This really makes it taste awesome. I will use cracker crumbs instead of breadcrumbs ..."

"I just can't seem to make enough of these Armenian vegetable dishes, they are all great. I really loved this dish. I was apprehensive about using the ketchup but it worked just fine. I also sauteed my onions prior to adding them to the casserole, but that is a personal preference because I like onions extremely soft and I was concerned that the..."

"This is YUMMY! I used a tablespoon of dried mint and it was great. You do NOT have to use fresh if you are unable to find it."
