"Excellent, stick-to-your ribs dish! Everyone raved! I substituted dill weed for the celery seeds, as we do not like that flavor and it turned out great. I will definately use this recipe again, most likely for company. It's not at all healthy, but it's oh so good!"

I am currently an active stay-at-home mom of three beautiful kids; Brock, 10, Courtney, 7, and Keely, 2. I am happily married to my wonderful husband Kraig of three years. While staying home to raise my children It gives me plenty of time to cook up great home cooked meals for my family at night, do gardening, barn chores and re-model our 1890 farmhouse that we bought from my husband's grandma! I also babysit an additional 5 children in my home most days of the week. I have been a 4-H leader for the past 11 years with a club of 92 kids! My son is finally old enough for 4-H and is showing feeder calves. I occasionally give horse riding lessons. I have been involoved with horses all my life and have been barrel racing since I was 14. Unfortunately I don't get to spend the time doing it too often anymore with my kids, sports schedules, 4-H and all my responsibilities. Hmm...I guess I'll share my all time favorite cookbook with you. I purchased a box of cookbooks from an auction and found an old Mennonite church cookbook in it that has 100's of wonderful dishes and desserts. I couldn't go a week without it!
Pizza, anything mexican, lasagne, homeade breads, chicken casseroles. My favorite dish is a toss up between chicken pot pie and homeade beef and noodles..AWESOME! (I'm a sucker for good 'ol stick-to-your-ribs midwestern cooking!) I guess I am "famous" for a lot of my dishes. All my friends and family can't wait to come over - just to eat. I make good chili and everyone loves my roasts with all the trimmings. Every get-together with my husband's side I am requested to make homeade rolls or bread. My side of the family usually just tells me to bring whatever (my brothers are some of my biggest fans!) My favorite restaurant is Hacienda (which only folks from Indiana have the pleasure of experiencing!)
