    About Me

I Love to cook, not bake... cook! It's an art piece that treats the mouth, eyes, nose, and imagination. I'm proud to say I get my love for cooking from my father and yes, it's My kitchen! The thing that brought me to Recipezaar is looking for what my inlaws call (spelled phonetically) "Plutchkies". this is a sour kraut cracker made by her aunt Doris. The recipe for Zelniky(s) IS what they call plutchkies. They use a derivitive of shortning called cracklings for texture, but the taste is basically the same. I'm excited to talk with other cooks and share the passionate knowledge we all have.

    Favorite Foods

Garlic, Bar-b-qued everything (1/2 inch of pink at a minimum and raw eggs Can be smoked!), fish and sea food, wine, scotch... that's right food... wine, beer, stews, soup, and heavy on the legumes... I'm kind of alone on this one.
