"Thanks for this great recipe. We quadruple the batter, cook tonnes of waffles and then freeze them. Then every morning we take out a couple pop them in the toaster.....and presto.....a great breakfast!"

"Very simple and very tasty. I have to double the recipe for the family and end up using a 425g tin of pears often! This means I can also use some of the drained juice (about 1/4 cup in the crumble, which adds a lovely flavour. "

"My husband loves this! I also add a tablespoon of rice syrup or honey to the sautee mix. I find though that the cooking time is closer to 20 mins in our oven!! "
