"This review is without glaze...because I grabbed a corner bite before mixing any and it's plenty sweet without! Glad I tried it before proceeding! I didn't have the maple flavoring but my pure local maple syrup is outstanding and the recipe turned out great with that alone! I think I'll back off on the brown sugar and try it with the glaze next..."

"In an effort to use some languishing pantry items, I ran a half-batch trial of this today. Used unsweetened medium shred coconut that I toasted first, low-sugar dried pineapple, and quick oats. The only change was the addition of a few drops of coconut flavoring. I used my 1 1/2 T. scoop and they needed to stay in the oven a hair over 13 minute..."

"I make this recipe no less than twice a month! I, too, make them gluten-free as it was a VERY easy do-over! I make 16 cookies, eight per sheet, bake each sheet 13-14 minutes, then allow them to cool completely on the sheets; then wrap individually in plastic wrap for grab-and-go. I think the college kid might eat these for breakfast!!! The 'ot..."

"Fantastic recipe! Went gluten-free with ease! Only subbed honey in for molasses (as some don't appreciate that flavor too much here...but followed the recipe otherwise. Amazing how moist they are with so little oil! A great find! THANKS!"

"I will keep this recipe around ALWAYS! Easily made gluten-free...and those brown bananas are gone! For the first try, I went with crunchy peanut butter for the fat, 1 C. mashed bananas and 1/2 C. mini bittersweet chocolate bits for add-ins, and needed to use some almond milk.....with the oats, they were DIVINE! A great grab-and-go breakfast for..."

"Really appreciate finding this recipe! Couldn't be easier! I'm on a mission to cook more from my pantry right now and lentils and brown rice are on the list! I had to leave out the cheese though...but allowed others to add it as they wished when it was finished. It was ready at 90 minutes but was a tad dry...so I think I'll add 1/4 cup of wate..."

"Shame on me for not reviewing this before now! This stuff is wonderful! Really fast and so easy...can't mess up! I've rolled it up and thrown it on a sheet and it's successful, as well! No, it isn't healthy but who cares! And the smell is simply intoxicating.....!!!!! Very nice with Italian soup.....or Italian anything! Thank you for this n..."

"I would LOVE for something to be "missing" from the write-up of this recipe. Specifically, the streusel.....is it complete? Is it correct? The cake batter was oh-so-nice (I used an organic orange and added a few drops of orange oil to the batter but the topping was extremely gooey and, even though I had doubts about the correctness of the ingr..."

"Several "muffin" batches later.....my favorite combo uses 8 minced dates instead of raisins and I swap the milk for 1/2 C. fat-free Greek yogurt and 1/2 C. water! A GOOD bad habit!!! Just love these! Mine never seem to need to bake longer than 30 minutes. The possibilities are endless...THANK YOU!!!"

"This is a decent muffin for having so little sugar. (If you think you want it sweeter, sprinkle a little sugar on top before baking. The fat content is higher but you're getting a good 'whack' of good fats so you need to take that into consideration. And any muffin that has a higher potassium per sodium ratio is always a good thing, too. All ..."
