Reviewed Stir-Fry Chicken With Garlic Sauce

"We really enjoyed this! I also doubled the marinade. I didn't put any spices in the chicken marinade just the sauce I used later in the stir fry. That way all the yummy garlic and spices were still in there. I also added half a yellow onion, half a red pepper and half a yellow pepper to the stir fry. Only used 1 Tbsp oil in the entire dish and..."

Reviewed Chicken Breast With Honey-Balsamic Glaze

"Mmm Mmm this was good! Thanks so much for sharing. I made an 8oz breast for DH and a 4oz for myself. I used 4 Tbsp honey and 4 Tbsp balsamic vinegar. We had a little left over so next time I might just use 3 Tbsp of each. I also seasoned each breast with a little garlic powder in addition to the salt, pepper and thyme. I served this with my g..."

Reviewed Funky Chicken With Sesame Noodles

"The sauce on this was great. I am not going to rate it as I had to make a lot of changes. After having recently lost 20 lbs on WW I had to cut back on the oil quite a bit. I basically cut the sauce ingredients in half and even then only used 1 Tbsp oil. When I made the chicken I added quite a few veggies (cabbage, onion, and red pepper) and eve..."

    About Me

I have always loved to cook. I really love to try new recipes! RecipeZaar is perfect for looking for new recipes. It's the first place I go when looking for something new!

My husband and I moved to Northeast Arizona (up in the mountains) in April (2007). We live near Show Low. The summer was absolutely beautiful! It never got to 100 degrees! Coming from Phoenix, we both enjoy being away from the heat and the city. Our first snow this year was absolutely gorgeous!

My recipe ratings pretty much follow the star system. I will usually make a recipe as is the first time. I say usually but I do still change things sometimes. I try to be fair if I have made changes. I will rate 5 stars if we LOVE it and it will be a regular dish around our house. 4 stars if we really liked it and 3 stars if it was just OK but we wouldn't make it again. I realize everyone's tastes are different so I do try to be gentle. Cooking can be a very personal thing to someone.

Another creative outlet for me is beading. I love to make beaded jewelry. Please visit my on-line store at http://www.beadcreations.etsy.com

I have recently started on Weight Watchers so I am in the process of revamping some of my recipes to make them a little more WW friendly!  Every calorie counts!  Wink
