    Reviewed Grand Champion Peach Jam

     |  By mary winecoff

"Wow oh wow, this is a great recipe! I did make some changes. I used Pomona's pectin which helped me cut back the sugar to only 4 cups. I didn't have ginger on hand, but added Penzey's double vanilla right before I canned the jam. I tested the jam before canning and it was amazing! Hubby had it on a PB&J and really liked it. Can't wait to pas..."

"This is an amazing jam that we will make over and over again! I just started up canning last year, this year I am making a point to only make things I cannot buy off the shelf. This is absolutely amazing! My husband wants to eat it by the spoonful. I did switch up the pectin to Pomona's. This gave it a stiff jam and that is what I wanted. I ..."

"This was a great recipe! We just made this the other week and the husband can't keep his hands out of the jar. I am not one for food dyes, but we added green coloring to the relish to turn it bright green. I really like the freakish green color. We hand shredded a second batch and it gave us longer strands of zucchini in the relish. I don't b..."

"I searched far and wide to find something that I could use zukes in, then I came across this. I'm glad I did because it is a really great jam with all kinds of goodies in it: zukes, pineapple, ginger, and habanero. I canned this the other week and just got to taste it tonight with some cream cheese on crackers (like the pic... amazing and addi..."

"I realy like this recipe. I had to add a bit more milk than the recipe called for. It turned out fluffy and perfect for my cupcakes. I made a vanilla bean cupcake using #372246. It turned out really well. My goal is to fatten up my friends so I don't have to go to the gym - this way I will look thinner than them. This recipe will help me wit..."

"These cupcakes are lightly sweet and bake up very nice. They are a little dense, so they hold up the frosting nicely. I used #222188 and added a little more milk to that than it called for. This fluffed up the frosting nicely to compliment the cake. I did not use baker's sugar, just granulated. I'm new to baking cupcakes not in a box and I re..."

"These were so good I had to make a second batch. I didn't chop up the cranberries and it turned out great. Another little thing I did was top them with raw sugar before putting them in the oven. It gave that light sweet crisp to the scone. Yum! Thanks for a keeper :"

"This was our first pickles recipe and we really enjoyed it. We are new at canning and found this recipe easy. I think we will either strain the spices out or use a cheesecloth to separate it. We sliced the pickles a little too thin the first time, but this time we made them extra thick. I do add the crisping stuff to the pickles so I know for ..."

"We have mixed reviews on this pie recipe. My husband loves it and won't stop talking about it. I, on the other hand, just did not like it at all. The pie separated and created an egg mass at the bottom. I really wanted to like it and was hoping it was close to the real coconut pie thing. I know you didn't develop the recipe, but I had to post..."
