"This is a recipe I've been making since the early 70s. I can't remember where it came from, but it is easy and delicious. The cook time includes chilling time.

Bringing about world peace is a passion of mine. As far off as it may seem, I want to do all that I can in every small way to help bring it about. Whether it is through sharing in healing circles, not arguing with my husband when I am just itching to
, helping with a community project or cooking up a meal that brings friends and family together, I don't want to miss the opportunity to bring about change (let it begin with me).
I truly enjoy cooking, especially baking. Living in the Ozarks has seemingly cut off some of my access to some of the more adventurous and daring recipes, but Recipezaar has come to the rescue! This site has been a godsend for me. I love all y'alls food, it is great! Recently I have decided to stay away from grains for several reasons, the biggest one being that I feel best when I don't eat grain products. Sugar has also gone out the window, and I'm not into the artificial ones (I do like Whey Low which is a blend of natural sugars, but I digress). I have found that so many of you have the same struggles and have created recipes that are delicious and satisfying. A big thank you to all of you.
A special blessing to all of you here, may you find peace and happiness beyond all understanding.

"A healthier version of fried rice. This is a delicious and filling fast carb. The cooking time does not include time to prepare the brown rice."
