    About Me

    My husband and I run a beef/hay farm just outside Memphis. We built our home here on our farm with our own hands--a 3 1/2 year project.

    We have 3 grown children and two wonderful grandsons.

    I love reading, cooking, gardening (both flower and vegetable), singing, and computing.

    Truth to tell, one of my favorite cookbooks is Naomi's Home Companion, Naomi Judd's cookbook.

    Favorite Foods

    I do not cull enough foods. I like them all, just about. I am not into exotic such as odd animal stuff but I like cuisine from many, many parts of the world.

    My favorite cuisine is Southern. I am known for my cornbread as I am a purist in my approach to it and the purity of it is often overlooked. Only in its purity is it truly a delicacy.
