"We enjoyed this recipe with several modifications. I reduced the eggs to 1 and added 1/4 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs to give the meatballs a nicer consistency. I used 1 lb. ground venison mixed with 1 lb. lean ground beef so meatballs were a little drier than most. I also skimmed grease off the top frequently as it tended to pool with watery..."

"The flavor was good but the texture was a little sticky for me. I would not use the pecans again as the flavor did not seem to match the rest of the ingredients. The fresh parsley was a nice touch. I would recommend more seasoning next time, possibly some poultry seasoning."

"Sorry, I did not care for this recipe. The flavors did not mix well and ended up quite bitter. I think some brown sugar and/ or butter may have made a big difference. After trying several bites, I ended up scraping away the pineapple and just eating plain squash."
