"Just tried this today and it was a good easy meal that will probably stay in my rotation (pending my BF liking it when he gets home I did make a couple of changes, first I omitted the mushrooms because we don't like them. I didn't have time to make it in the crock pot (only had 2.5 hours before I had to leave for work. So I set the oven to 27..."

"I made this for my dad on Fathers day, overall this recipe was pretty good, although the flour lumps were definitely an issue for me, I ended up using a hand blender to get the lumps out. "Drinking this right now, it is very good. I did the rich variation with the extra cocoa. A good rule of thumb with any milk based drink is to make it with whatever you are used to drinking/using for the best taste to you. I used 2%. I did end up heating it a little longer after it was all mixed up, just because I like my hot chocolate REALLY h..."

"I have made this a few times and tweaked the recipe just a little bit to make it from good to fabulous! First, make absolutely certain you do not let the onions brown. I let them brown a little bit one time by accident, and it wasn't half as good. I add just a little bit of minced garlic into soup while its cooking, not much. Then I use sourdo..."
