"Hi there, this recipe is almost exactly the same one I requested a couple years or so ago. 1Steve found this and submitted it for me. It was in an old paperback Pillsbury bakeoff cookbook and called "Oatmeal Caramelitas". It is here on the zaar, look it up. Great cookies, can't beat them."

"Great recipe and very easy, made them exactly like the recipe said, they turned out perfect. My grandkids gobbled them up and asked for more. "

My grandkids would not have to..."

"I have made this recipe for years, it was on a box of instant pudding many years ago. I use the french vanilla instant pudding, and I soak the raisins in hot water for about 10 minutes, then let them drain in a colander, I also add a teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. This is the favorite cookie in my family. Make small cookies, add more raisins if yo..."

"I was thrilled that someone replied to my post for this recipe, thank you Steve. My family finds this one of their favorites. I usually do not add the walnuts, but this is GREAT!"
