"I've always wanted homemade yoghurt, but didn't want to buy a yogurt maker. This crockpot recipe works wonderfully!"

    About Me

I'm a happy home cook living in Portal, Arizona (middle of nowhere). No restaurants and the nearest supermarket is 50 miles away. I love quick recipes made from readily available ingredients that feature fresh produce. I make my own bread, yoghurt, granola--most of what we eat is made from scratch (with a few shortcuts, like "Better than broth". We eat well and fortunately like leftovers; otherwise cooking three times a day for two would become too onerous. When we go to a city and go out, I love to eat ethnic food that I don't really know how to make myself.
