    Reviewed Stuffed Breakfast Biscuits

"My DIL made these and brought them on our camping trip. They were very good even after sitting in the refrigerator for a couple of days. We just popped them in the microwave to warm. I came home and decided to try them myself. I made mine with crumbled cooked bacon. Instead of using muffin tins, I just folded the edges of the flattened biscuit..."

    About Me

I learned to cook by watching my mom and grandmother in their kitchens and always wanting to help. I don't remember seeing them use very many written recipes. Back then, it was just "a little of this and a pinch of that". Somewhere along the way, I decided that method works fine for some recipes but not so well for others. I began my own collection of recipes and cookbooks which today is quite extensive. Since discovering Recipezaar, this is always my first stop to find a new recipe or even a new take on an old recipe. I love trying new recipes and I'm very lucky to have a husband who is always open to that idea too.

I work full-time for our local school district. I drive school buses, train new drivers and have a multitude of other duties in our transportation department. Since I stay pretty busy most of the time, my slow-cooker has become my "lifesaver" during the school year. So, I am always on the lookout for great slow-cooker recipes.

Here in southeast Texas, we have more warm weather than cold so my husband and I are avid about grilling when we can. We have learned to cook entire meals on the grill and those are our favorites.
