I consider myself high risk for diabetes...yet I love sweets. I want to be safe and eat healthy while still enjoying the food I eat. I have become interested in high fiber foods as they are ver good for you and I want to learn ways to prepare meals that are quick, "interesting"/"intriguing". Uncommon but yummy combinations really capture my interest..like salads with fruit and nuts in them like strawberries and walnuts.
I am considering becomming a vegetarian...so any advice is well needed. Be blessed!
Fruits: Strawberries, bannanas, peaches.
Veg: Tomatoes, avacado, beets, celery, onions and garlic, TRYING to like spinach :S...
Nuts: Pistachios, walnuts, almonds
