Reviewed Perfect Chocolate Brownies
"Excellent brownies! I've been making these since 2009, but I didn't realize that I hadn't reviewed them. This is one of my go-to recipes! I use coconut oil/butter mix instead of shortening to make it healthier, too."

Reviewed Low Carb Taco Bake
"Loved this! I halved it as it was just myself and the kids eating it, but now I wish I wouldn't have. :) Topped with chopped tomato and sour cream but would have loved to have had some guacamole on it! :)"

I am married to a military man for 19 years. We've lived in Kansas, Japan, North Carolina, and Washington state. I grew up a military brat, too, and have lived in Kentucky, Florida, Maine, Germany, Holland, and South Carolina. I am now a SAHM of 2 children. I love to make and try new recipes. My mom was the one that primarily taught me how to cook and then I have taught myself to cook various other things via trial and error. I love sharing with others how to cook and ideas. :)
I also love to read and blog. I have a collection of cookbooks, but don't have one particular favorite.
My passion is cooking/baking for others. I have recently gotten more active on Zaar with posting some recipes and making a lot of new ones. I love trying new dishes!
I am an active part of our church - working in the nursery, singing in choir, etc. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is my Rock and Salvation. I praise God for all that He has done for me.
I love to meet new friends and enjoy talking about cooking, kids, etc. So feel free to drop me a Zmail! :)

Any dish that the family loves is a favorite. I am famous for my chicken fried steak and my cheesecakes. My all time favorite food is chocolate, so I'm always looking for a great chocolate recipe. I love Mexican food!
Favorite Restaurants - Red Robin, Chili's, Cracker Barrel
