    Reviewed Good Season's Italian Dressing

     |  By Lisa_Roy

"I typically use cream cheese and a half of a packet of Good Season's mix to make a bread dip for homemade breadsticks. Of course, I went to find some as the dough was rising and I was out. This was a great substitute! I don't know about how it would rate as a dressing but it was good for the mix. It did seem to be heavy in the oregano (and I d..."

"Very well received by my husband and 5 kids. In my husband's words "This one is definitely a keeper!" I did not have much pesto so I made my own (oil, garlic, dried basil, & a touch of parm cheese to make up the creaminess for the missing pine nuts. EASY and great!"

"Very, very good! I have made lots of different Queso dips and I really liked this one a lot. I roasted the poblano peppers in the oven and then skinned them. Throw those and the tomatoes in a food processor. I do not ever use American cheese, so I just doubled the colby/monterey jack. Great!"

"My husband said the actual rating would be about a 4.5. I made them as listed with 1/4 cup pecans and I used Ghiradelli double chocolate chips (which are very large. I put my dried cranberries and choc. chips through the salad shooter prior to putting in the recipe. They were a very "seasonal" chocolate chip cookie without being too chocolate-..."

"I couldn't find my favorite crepes recipe this morning as I went to make breakfast. I turned to my trusted recipezaar.com/food.com to find the highest rated crepes recipe. I gave it 3 stars only because of how easy it was compared to use oil instead of melted butter and the recipe in general (normally I've made a dough ball and then added milk t..."

"SO simple...so wonderful! Absolutely the best homemade Italian dressing and definitely better than store bought. I would give this many more stars if I could. It makes your salad take center stage with the perfect amount of spice and vinegar."

"Great recipe! My 2 kids who claim to not like mushrooms loved these! This will be my stuffed mushroom recipe from now on (I've made it about 4 times in the past 6 months.

I did not spend the time to make the separate parts and combine. I just combined everything and put in the mushroom cap. I also sauteed the mushroom stems (so we di..."

"I doubled this recipe and made it without trying it first for a party b/c of the great reviews. It was too bad. I don't know if it was the chick peas (brand new cans I had or the recipe. I made this and it just tasted like chick peas with some garlic. It didn't taste anything like hummus. Too bad b/c I have recently bought a zero fat hummus..."

"It was great and highly rated by my 5 kids and husband. We will definitely be overwriting the current (not used often due to the complexity version of chicken cordon blue and replacing it with this. Easy and very good. I made it as said...including the salt. I can see why she left it out. I would add a little but not as much as 1/2 tsp.Tha..."
