    About Me

My husband and I own an appliance sales and service company. We love to camp and spend time outdoors. We have several Paso Fino horses and love spending time on the trails with them. Hubby and I both love to cook and try new foods.

My all time favorite cookbook is Recipe*zaar--my dream come true! Bound matter, it has to be the Herrick, IL Heritage Days cookbook. It's about 25 years old, given by my paternal grandmother to all her children and their children. It is huge, and full of recipes that are just superb! I wish I could still get copies for my kids!

    Favorite Foods

At large family gatherings, my 'frog eye' salad has been oft requested. There has been insistance that a 'hot-wing' style veggie dip I made up a few years ago should be marketed ;-)

My favorite restuarant experience ever was at Loon Lake Lodge in Indianapolis, IN. One very unique place, with food to match its ambience. WONDERFUL!
